BioI'm a middle-aged pervy geek boy, dad to an amazingly cool (and weird) blond kid, long-term partner to an amazingly awesome, totally nifty woman.
I used to do a lot in the RPG-o-sphere. Mostly talk. Some graphic design. Now I mostly don't. Can't say I miss it much, honestly. Still play a bit, when I can.
I also hold the unofficial title of Second Biggest Bliss Stage Fan In The Universe, but never mind that. Just play the game. It's very cool.
I wrangle databases for a living, but my real love is understanding what makes people tick and why they believe the things they believe.
I'm mildly queer-identified, a little bit kinky, sometimes non-monogamous, pro-feminist, slightly radical lefty, and mostly peaceful. Along with a laundry list of other minor and qualified identity signifiers.
I have immense faith in the potential for human goodness, compassion, and justice. This faith is tested daily by the times I live in, but it seems to be holding up okay.
This is where I put random stuff that needs posting, and leave random comments on other people's journals. It used to be a "gaming blog" but now, not so much. Don't know what it's being now. Kinda like me.
Come on in and watch me wobble semi-randomly toward the future. Much of the content here is friends-only, but not because it's super-duper private or anything like that... it's just useful to filter out the hopelessly geeky or otherwise narrow-audience stuff from those less likely to give a flying fewmet.
New friends are totally welcome - I manage my friends list pretty aggressively, so please let me know if there's specific kinds of content you'd like to be able to see or NOT see and I'll put you in the right filters.
